As a Software Developer specializing in PHP and WordPress at IawAndWeb Technologies, you will play a crucial role in our innovative web solutions. To excel in this role, you should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field, along with a minimum of 2 years of PHP development experience and at least 1.5 years of WordPress theme/plugin development experience. Proficiency in PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, RESTful APIs, JSON, XML, and version control tools like Git is essential for this position.
Preferred skills include experience with WooCommerce, Advanced Custom Fields (ACF), other CMS platforms, SEO, web accessibility standards, cloud hosting services such as AWS, and familiarity with performance testing and scalability strategies. Additionally, strong analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, excellent communication, and effective team collaboration skills are highly valued in this role.
