As a skilled Web Developer specializing in custom themes for CMS platforms like WordPress, Joomla, and Drupal at MintHomes Private Limited, your primary focus will be on creating custom, installable themes using HTML, CSS, and PHP to ensure compatibility with WordPress. You will play a crucial role in crafting high-performance, responsive websites while adhering to exceptional coding standards.
Your responsibilities will include developing custom themes and templates for WordPress, Joomla, and Drupal with emphasis on compatibility and scalability. You will design and deliver installable WordPress themes that meet modern web standards and client requirements. Additionally, you will build and integrate custom plugins, APIs, and back-end services to enhance CMS functionality, optimize websites for performance, SEO, and mobile responsiveness, and ensure cross-browser, cross-platform, and cross-device compatibility for all web projects.
To excel in this role, you should possess 2-4 years of experience in custom theme development for WordPress, Joomla, or Drupal and demonstrate proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, PHP, and MySQL. Expertise in WordPress theme development and front-end frameworks like Bootstrap, along with a strong understanding of web security, SEO, and performance optimization, will be essential. Familiarity with REST APIs, Git for version control, and experience with Joomla and Drupal for CMS development are preferred qualifications.
In addition to technical skills, soft skills such as excellent communication, collaboration, organizational abilities, and a creative problem-solving approach will be beneficial. You should be able to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work effectively both independently and as part of a team. A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred, along with experience in back-end frameworks like Node.js or Laravel, UI/UX design tools, and exposure to Agile methodologies and test-driven development.
This is a full-time position at MintHomes Private Limited with a monthly salary ranging from 40,000.00 to 50,000.00. The work schedule is from Monday to Saturday during day shifts. A Bachelor’s degree is preferred, and 5 years of total work experience with 4 years in CMS development and HTML/custom theme development is required. Advanced experience as a WordPress Developer is preferred. The work location is in person.
