Qualys is hiring a Website Developer to contribute to the creation of a cutting-edge, user-focused, and data-driven online presence. This role offers the opportunity to shape the customer experience through innovative front-end development.
As a Website Developer, you will work alongside UX/UI designers and fellow engineers to design, build, and maintain the Qualys website. Key responsibilities include hands-on development of prototypes and exploration of emerging technologies, as well as close collaboration with Marketing and Product teams to understand and implement new features and workflows, ultimately ensuring a seamless customer journey.
Candidates should possess 3+ years of experience in front-end development with a strong foundation in HTML, CSS, Tailwind CSS, and JavaScript, including a deep understanding of the browser DOM. A proven track record of designing, building, and optimizing high-performance websites is essential.
Required skills include practical experience with ReactJS or NextJs, familiarity with content management systems like Builder.Io or contentful, and prior experience with WordPress development. Proficiency in debugging and testing, along with an understanding of accessibility standards (including 508 compliance) and front-end security best practices (such as XSS and CSRF prevention), is necessary. Experience building Responsive UIs and Progressive Web Apps is highly valued, as is knowledge of back-end technologies like Node.js and PHP and their integration with front-end systems.
