About the Team

Internal Platforms team collaborates with most of IG’s internal business which makes it very unique place to be.
Your role in the Team:
As a Developer, you will be integral to the team, contributing to the development of new features and the improvement of existing ones. You will work closely with more senior developers to refine your skills and grow your expertise. You will work closely across all business units, providing a rich learning environment about the company’s operations. Our technology stack is comprehensive, involving full-stack solutions that drive our enterprise forward.
What you’ll do
- Develop and maintain software applications according to specifications.
- Collaborate with team members to brainstorm and solve complex problems.
- Participate in the testing and debugging of new software or enhancements to existing software.
- Attend and contribute to team meetings and report significant progress and challenges.
- Maintain documentation for system software applications.

What you will need for the role
- Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Java (Spring) or JavaScript (ReactJS) with willingness to learn one of these technologies.
- Understanding of fundamental design principles behind scalable applications.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Strong communication skills and a dedication to technical excellence.
