What You’ll Do
- Design and maintain scalable Node.js APIs and microservices.
- Deploy, monitor and optimize AWS services such as EC2, Lambda, RDS, DynamoDB.
- Integrate Stripe, Mollie and Adyen for subscription lifecycle and recurring billing.
- Implement secure authentication (JWT/OAuth) and PCI‑DSS compliant payment flows.
- Optimize database schemas, queries and indexes for performance at scale.
- Conduct code reviews and drive engineering best practices across the team.
What You Need
- 5+ years Node.js development using Express or NestJS.
- Deep hands‑on experience with core AWS services and infrastructure as code.
- Proven integration of Stripe, Mollie and Adyen, handling webhooks, retries and refunds.
- Strong SQL and NoSQL skills (PostgreSQL/MySQL, MongoDB, DynamoDB) with query tuning.
- Expertise in security best practices: JWT, OAuth, encryption, OWASP guidelines.
Good to Have
- Experience with AI/ML APIs and data‑driven backend services.
- Knowledge of serverless (Lambda) and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
