About The Job
We are urgently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Node.js Developer to join our dynamic team in Nagpur. This is a critical role focused on optimizing the performance and scalability of our web-based applications. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of Node.js and related technologies, coupled with a strong problem-solving aptitude and a commitment to delivering high-quality, efficient code. This is a strict work-from-office position in Nagpur.

Responsibilities
• Server-Side Development : Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable server-side applications using Node.js.
• Performance Optimization : Optimize application performance, ensuring responsiveness and efficiency of the central database and API endpoints.
• Collaboration : Collaborate closely with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• API Design & Development : Design and implement RESTful APIs and other web services to support various business processes.
• Code Quality : Write clean, testable, reusable, and efficient code, adhering to best practices and coding standards.
• Security : Implement and maintain effective security protocols, data protection measures, and secure storage solutions.
• Testing & Debugging : Conduct thorough testing, including unit and integration testing, and effectively debug and resolve issues.
• Documentation : Maintain comprehensive documentation of Node.js processes, database schemas, and API specifications.
• Technical Support : Provide technical support and troubleshoot issues, including resolving urgent web application problems outside of regular business hours when necessary.
• Continuous Improvement : Research and recommend improvements to existing processes and technologies, staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in Node.js development.
• Database Management : Design and manage database interactions, ensuring efficient data storage and retrieval.
• Deployment & Maintenance : Participate in the deployment and maintenance of applications, ensuring smooth and reliable operation.
Required Skills And Qualifications
• Education : Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience : Minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a Node.js developer.
• Node.js Expertise : Extensive knowledge of Node.js and its core modules.
• JavaScript Proficiency : Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including ES6+ features.
• Frameworks & Libraries : Experience with popular Node.js frameworks such as Express.js, and familiarity with relevant libraries.
• Database Knowledge : Proficiency in working with databases such as MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or similar.
• API Development : Experience in designing and developing RESTful APIs.
• Front-End Technologies (Familiarity) : Basic understanding of front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, or Vue.js) is a plus.
• Version Control : Proficiency in using Git for version control.
• Testing & Debugging : Experience with unit testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Mocha) and debugging tools.
• Security Practices : Knowledge of security best practices for web applications.
• Problem-Solving : Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Communication : Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Time Management : Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Work Ethic : Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Availability : Must be available to work from the office in Nagpur and be flexible to address urgent issues outside of regular work hours.
