iPivot is a company that helps investment banks and financial services firms manage and understand their data better. We build the systems that take in information, organize it, and make it useful for important decisions.
We’re looking for a talented person to lead our Data Engineering team. You’ll be responsible for designing and building the data platforms our clients use – everything from how data gets into the system to how quickly they can get answers from it. You’ll make sure the data is accurate, secure, and meets the needs of a fast-paced financial environment.
You’ll be leading a team of over 50 engineers, including data engineers, analytics engineers, and BI developers, so experience managing and mentoring a large team is important. You’ll also be talking directly with clients to understand their challenges and propose solutions.
To be successful, you should have a strong background in SQL and experience with cloud technologies like AWS, Snowflake, and Amazon Redshift. Knowing Qlik (Q) is a plus. We’re also looking for someone who understands data governance and security, and can explain complex technical ideas to people who aren’t technical experts. A solid 15+ years of overall IT experience with at least 10 years specifically in data engineering is needed.
This position is located in Nagpur and is an onsite role. Salary will be discussed with shortlisted candidates.
