Overview

We are seeking an experienced Power BI Developer with strong expertise in Microsoft Fabric to design, build, and optimize scalable data analytics solutions. This role involves working with large datasets, creating impactful dashboards, and enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports

• Build and manage data pipelines using Microsoft Fabric (Data Factory, Dataflows Gen2, Lakehouse, Warehouse)

• Develop semantic models and optimize data models for performance

• Implement DAX calculations, KPIs, and business logic

• Integrate data from multiple sources (SQL, APIs, cloud platforms)

• Ensure data accuracy, governance, and security (RLS, access control)

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and translate business requirements

• Monitor and optimize report performance and refresh schedules

• Support deployment and CI/CD processes for BI solutions

• Mentor junior developers and contribute to best practices

Required Skills

• Strong experience with Power BI (Desktop & Service)

• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric

• Proficiency in:

• DAX

• Power Query (M language)

• SQL

• Experience with:

• Data modeling (star schema, snowflake schema)

• ETL/ELT processes

• Large-scale datasets and performance tuning

• Knowledge of cloud platforms (preferably Azure)

• Understanding of data warehousing concepts

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with:

• Azure Synapse Analytics

• Azure Data Factory

• Databricks

• Familiarity with:

• CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, Git)

• Python or Spark for data processing

• Microsoft certifications such as:

• Power BI Data Analyst Associate

• Fabric Analytics Engineer

Experience

• 5–8+ years in BI/Data Analytics roles

• 2+ years working with Microsoft Fabric or similar modern data platforms

Soft Skills

• Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking

• Excellent communication with business stakeholders

• Ability to work independently and in agile teams

Nice to Have

• Exposure to real-time analytics

• Experience with data governance tools

• Knowledge of AI/ML integration in BI
