A senior‑level data engineer is needed to build and run production‑grade pipelines that power the company’s machine‑learning models. You’ll work closely with data‑science and analytics teams to deliver reliable, cost‑efficient data flows on Google Cloud.
What You’ll Do
Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines in Python.
Create and manage workflow orchestration using Apache Airflow or GCP Composer.
Implement monitoring, alerting, and observability best practices for all pipelines.
Own scheduling, incident response, and SLA compliance for data workloads.
Enforce data contracts, maintain a data catalog, and support data discovery.
Optimize pipeline performance and cloud cost through efficient architecture.
What You Need
7+ years of experience building production data pipelines.
Strong Python programming skills, including ML deployment basics.
Hands‑on expertise with Apache Airflow and/or Google Cloud Composer.
Solid understanding of workflow orchestration, monitoring, and alerting.
Experience with GCP services and cost‑aware data architecture design.
Knowledge of data modeling, pipeline design principles, and data‑contract implementation.
Familiarity with data cataloguing and metadata management tools.
