Senior Engineer – Instrumentation and Control — Senior Engineer – Instrumentation and Control – Mumbai Design, specify, implement and commission instrumentation and control systems for power generation and energy‑infrastructure projects. Join a global consulting firm that delivers complex, high‑impact engineering solutions across India. What You’ll Do Prepare instrument index, I/O lists and detailed datasheets. Draft specifications for pressure, temperature, flow, level, analyser and valve instruments. Create hook‑up drawings and installation details. Review vendor documentation and resolve technical queries. Configure DCS/PLC/SCADA systems: build logic, graphics, tuning and point databases. Design Ethernet/IP, Profinet, Modbus and redundant network architectures. Liaise with OEMs and engineering teams on upgrades, migrations and modernisation projects. What You Need Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation Engineering or a related discipline. Strong knowledge of IEC codes and industrial communication protocols (Profinet, Modbus TCP/IP, Ethernet/IP). Hands‑on C&I experience in power plants, CCGT, utilities, oil & gas or process industries. Proven capability to interface PLC, SCADA, DCS and metering systems. Experience delivering detailed design, FEED studies and performance testing for power‑sector projects. Track record preparing EPC tender documents and supporting operational consultancy. Good to Have Experience with a major EPC contractor on complex FEED or detailed‑design assignments. Prior work on power‑plant, CCGT, utility or oil‑&‑gas projects.
