What You’ll Do
- Analyze business requirements and craft detailed manual test cases.
- Execute functional, regression, and risk‑based test cycles.
- Log defects, record results, and track resolution steps.
- Develop test plans, scripts, and keep documentation up‑to‑date.
- Work closely with developers and analysts to troubleshoot issues.
- Validate test coverage across environments and produce closure reports.
What You Need
- 2–4 years of hands‑on manual testing experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or related discipline (or equivalent).
- Strong grasp of SDLC, STLC, defect life cycle and agile methods.
- Ability to write and execute SQL queries for data validation.
- Experience with functional, regression, integration and system testing.
- Excellent written and verbal communication with solid documentation skills.
Good to Have
- Basic API testing using Postman or REST Assured.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Git or Azure DevOps.
- Exposure to automation concepts or tools.
