Senior Data Engineer – Microsoft Fabric & Data Integration – Pune/Chennai

Join a leading global information services firm to architect enterprise‑grade data platforms using Microsoft Fabric and Azure. You will drive end‑to‑end data integration, warehousing, and AI‑ready analytics for diverse business units. What You'll Do Design and build scalable, secure data integration and analytics solutions. Develop enterprise platforms with Microsoft Fabric, Data Factory, OneLake, and Lakehouse. Create modern ETL/ELT frameworks for reporting and operational use cases. Implement ingestion, transformation, orchestration, monitoring, and data quality processes. Write technical specifications and design documentation under Specification‑Driven Development. Enable AI, machine learning, and generative AI capabilities in data solutions. Support CI/CD pipelines, production monitoring, root‑cause analysis, and continuous improvement. What You Need 7+ years in data engineering, warehousing, or ETL/ELT. Strong SQL Server and advanced T‑SQL expertise. Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Fabric Lakehouse, Data Warehouse, Data Factory, OneLake. Proficiency in Azure Data Factory and cloud‑based data engineering. Mastery of dimensional modeling, Kimball methodology, and CDC/slowly changing dimensions. Experience with Git, Azure DevOps, and CI/CD for data platforms. Ability to produce technical specifications and design documentation. Good to Have Knowledge of Pentaho Data Integration (PDI/Kettle). Experience with Azure Synapse Analytics and Azure Data Lake Storage. Familiarity with Spark, PySpark, and Power BI for analytics.
