Principal Software Engineer- Agent Developer

Join a fast‑growing team building a high‑performance endpoint security agent that operates close to the OS kernel and network stack. You’ll own the core runtime, its pluggable modules, and the on‑premise management components that keep fleets protected. What You’ll Do Design and implement core agent runtime and security module framework in Go. Develop and maintain Windows/Linux kernel drivers or eBPF modules for real‑time monitoring. Build gRPC services and clients for control‑plane and telemetry‑plane communication. Implement mTLS authentication, certificate handling, and secure channel setup in the agent. Create disk‑backed queues and WAL to survive network interruptions without data loss. Ensure resource‑efficient operation and isolate failures between core runtime and modules. What You Need 8–10 years of systems‑level software engineering experience. Expert‑level proficiency in Go with production‑grade code contributions. Hands‑on experience writing and debugging kernel drivers or Linux kernel modules in C/C++. Strong knowledge of gRPC, Protocol Buffers, HTTP/2, and TLS/mTLS. Experience building persistent agents/daemons on Windows or Linux endpoints. Ability to design concurrent, resource‑constrained solutions with robust data buffering. Good to Have Background in EDR/XDR or antivirus agent development. Experience with cross‑platform agents (Windows, Linux, macOS). Familiarity with PCI‑DSS or similar compliance engineering practices. Knowledge of observability tools like Prometheus or OpenTelemetry.
