What You’ll Do
- Lead AI‑assisted PR workflow using Cursor, Copilot, Claude for Node.js and Go microservices.
- Design resilient, high‑throughput services with Kafka, Redis, circuit breakers, health checks.
- Optimize MySQL and MongoDB queries to achieve sub‑second p99 latency and cost predictability.
- Build versioned, backward‑compatible APIs and modular services on Kubernetes.
- Implement observability stack (Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry) for proactive debugging.
- Mentor engineers, write RFCs, and collaborate across product, data, and DevOps teams.
- Drive deployment pipelines to maintain low change‑failure rates and under two Sev‑1 incidents quarterly.
What You Need
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of backend development experience.
- Proficiency in Node.js (NestJS/Express) and Golang.
- Strong knowledge of MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, and Kafka.
- Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud platforms (GCP/AWS).
- Familiarity with CI/CD, monitoring, and incident‑response practices.
- Ability to write clean, maintainable code and debug distributed systems.
Good to Have
- Hands‑on experience with Aerospike or ElasticSearch.
- Demonstrated use of AI tools to boost development velocity.
- Knowledge of cloud cost management and unit‑economics analysis.
