Join a fast‑growing product development team building a modern learning platform. You’ll craft secure, scalable backend services that power course creation, assessments and an AI learning assistant.
What You’ll Do
- Design and deliver REST APIs with NestJS and TypeScript.
- Model and manage PostgreSQL schemas using Prisma ORM.
- Implement JWT authentication, refresh tokens and role‑based access control.
- Write unit and e2e tests in Jest and maintain test coverage.
- Optimize performance, handle errors, and secure file uploads.
- Collaborate with frontend engineers to define and evolve API contracts.
- Maintain API versioning and deprecation strategies.
What You Need
- 1–3 years of Node.js backend experience.
- Proficiency with NestJS, TypeScript and Prisma ORM.
- Strong PostgreSQL database design and migration skills.
- Hands‑on JWT/refresh‑token authentication implementation.
- Experience writing Jest unit and integration tests.
- Git/GitHub workflow and secure coding practices.
Good to Have
- Familiarity with Swagger/OpenAPI documentation.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployments on Render or Vercel.
- Exposure to Angular frontends or education‑tech platforms.
The Opportunity
The role is fully remote within India, but requires you to align with US Eastern business hours (8 AM‑4 PM). You’ll report to the Systems Architecture Lead and be part of Peer Consulting Resources’ Product Development team.
