We’re looking for a seasoned backend engineer to build high‑performance services for a fast‑growing tech platform. You’ll own API design, data modeling, and system scalability while collaborating with cross‑functional teams.
What You’ll Do
- Design and develop backend services with Node.js, NestJS, and TypeScript.
- Build secure REST APIs and authentication/authorization mechanisms.
- Create and optimize PostgreSQL schemas and queries.
- Integrate third‑party services and external APIs.
- Lead code reviews, architecture discussions, and mentor junior engineers.
- Write unit and integration tests and ensure code quality.
- Troubleshoot production incidents and improve performance and reliability.
What You Need
- 5+ years of backend development experience.
- Strong expertise in Node.js, NestJS, and TypeScript.
- Deep knowledge of PostgreSQL and relational database design.
- Proven ability to build secure REST APIs.
- Experience with Docker, Git, and CI/CD workflows.
- Solid understanding of software architecture and distributed systems.
- Excellent debugging, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
