Looking for an experienced Java engineer to design, build, and maintain microservices in a cloud‑native environment. You’ll collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver scalable, resilient services. This role focuses on modern Java technologies and event‑driven architecture.
What You’ll Do
- Design and develop microservices using Spring Boot and Java 8+.
- Implement RESTful APIs and event‑driven solutions with Kafka.
- Build and deploy services on PCF platforms.
- Write unit tests with JUnit and Mockito.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and code reviews.
- Maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or similar.
- Monitor application performance and troubleshoot issues.
What You Need
- 6+ years of Java development experience.
- Expertise in Spring Boot, Hibernate, REST APIs, and Kafka.
- Proficient with JUnit, Mockito, and CI/CD tools.
- Strong knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases and design patterns.
- Experience deploying microservices on PCF or similar platforms.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and version control (Git).
Good to Have
- Reward/Payments application domain experience.
- Familiarity with security concepts (authentication, authorization).
- Experience with JBehave, Confluence, or Rally.
