What You’ll Do
- Design and maintain RESTful APIs using Node.js frameworks.
- Architect, deploy, and monitor AWS services (EC2, Lambda, RDS, DynamoDB).
- Integrate Stripe, Mollie, and Adyen for subscriptions and recurring billing.
- Implement secure authentication (JWT/OAuth) and PCI‑DSS compliant payment flows.
- Optimize database schemas and queries for performance at scale.
- Collaborate with frontend, DevOps, and product teams on end‑to‑end features.
- Conduct code reviews and troubleshoot production incidents.
What You Need
- 5–7 years backend development with Node.js (Express/NestJS).
- Deep hands‑on experience with core AWS services and infrastructure.
- Proven integration of Stripe, Mollie, and Adyen payment gateways.
- Strong command of relational (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB/DynamoDB) databases.
- Expertise in database query optimization and performance tuning.
- Solid understanding of security standards (PCI‑DSS, OWASP, JWT, OAuth).
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and message queues (SQS, Kafka).
Good to Have
- Experience with AI/ML APIs or data‑driven backend services.
- Knowledge of serverless architecture and containerization (Docker, ECS, Kubernetes).
