Senior Software Engineer – Java Full stack with AI

Join Mastercard’s B&MI Technology team to develop cutting‑edge, AI‑enhanced full‑stack solutions that power secure, global payments. You’ll work on enterprise Java platforms and modern front‑end frameworks while leveraging cloud and AI tools. What You’ll Do Design and develop enterprise Java applications using Spring, Hibernate, and REST APIs. Build responsive front‑ends with React or Angular, integrating HTML/CSS/JavaScript. Collaborate with product partners to define requirements and roadmap. Ensure code follows Mastercard architecture, standards, and zero‑downtime goals. Deploy and monitor services on AWS (EC2, ECS, S3) with CI/CD pipelines. Provide performance engineering guidance and mentor junior developers. What You Need 7+ years of software engineering experience with Java 8+ and J2EE. Strong expertise in Spring Framework, Hibernate, and building SOAP/REST web services. Proficiency in React or Angular and front‑end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript). Experience with relational (Oracle, MySQL, Postgres) and NoSQL (MongoDB) databases. Hands‑on with AWS cloud services, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tools (Maven, Jenkins). Familiarity with Unix shell scripting and XML/XSLT. Bachelor’s degree in CS, IT, or related field. Good to Have Experience with Databricks, Apache Spark, ETL pipelines, and Delta Lake. Knowledge of AI/ML tools (Copilot, AI‑assisted testing, code generation). Background in Agile and Waterfall SDLC methodologies.
