A leading Indian IT solutions provider seeks a senior backend developer who can fuse robust architecture with rigorous application security. You’ll be responsible for building production‑grade services and APIs while ensuring security is baked into every stage of development.
What You’ll Do
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure backend applications.
- Build production‑grade APIs with authentication, rate‑limiting, and error handling.
- Conduct security reviews and remediate vulnerabilities throughout SDLC.
- Integrate automated SAST/DAST checks into CI/CD pipelines.
- Enforce secure Git practices, branch protection, and secret management.
- Collaborate with DevOps, infra, and security teams for secure deployments.
What You Need
- 5+ years of backend development using Java, Node.js, or Python.
- Deep expertise in designing RESTful APIs and OAuth/OAuth2 security.
- Strong knowledge of OWASP Top 10 and API Security Top 10.
- Proven experience embedding security controls in CI/CD pipelines.
- Hands‑on with Git, GitHub/GitLab/Bitbucket and branch‑protection workflows.
- Familiarity with database security, encryption, and secret management.
- Excellent communication for client meetings and technical presentations.
Good to Have
- Experience with SAST tools such as SonarQube, Checkmarx, or Semgrep.
- Knowledge of container security (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud platforms AWS/GCP/Azure.
- Background in ISO 27001, SOC 2, or PCI DSS compliance programs.
