What You’ll Do
- Enhance analytics storage with Apache Iceberg and DuckLake support.
- Build edge features like automatic cache invalidation to accelerate uploads.
- Optimize storage server performance, observability, and reliability at scale.
- Develop intuitive storage explorer UI together with frontend engineers.
- Improve APIs, client libraries, and CLI for seamless developer experience.
- Strengthen upload/download resilience by refining protocols and processing pipelines.
What You Need
- 5+ years backend engineering, production Node.js experience.
- Designed or operated highly scalable distributed systems.
- Proficient with PostgreSQL in production, including tuning and troubleshooting.
- Hands‑on with OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana for observability.
- Experience in performance tuning, production troubleshooting, and reliability engineering.
- Proven ownership mindset; drive projects from definition to delivery.
Good to Have
- Built developer tools or platforms on AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Worked with Docker, Kubernetes, and large‑scale file transfer pipelines.
- Integrated CDNs, image/video processing (FFmpeg, Sharp) and modern codecs.
