Job Description
We are looking for a passionate and skilled Android Developer Intern to join our mobile development team. This is a hands-on opportunity to work on a live production mobile application, contributing directly to the development and enhancement of key product features.
As an intern, you will gain real-time exposure to scalable architecture, device integration, offline-first functionality, and performance optimization within a professional startup environment.
Candidate Requirements:
Minimum 6 months of experience in Android Development or React Native (self-projects or freelance work will be considered)
Strong understanding of JavaScript/TypeScript and React Native components
Familiarity with device permissions, data caching, and API integration
Prior experience using Expo, SQLite, React Navigation is preferred
Ability to commit to full-time work for the internship duration
High accountability, communication skills, and eagerness to learn in a fast-paced environment

Project Overview:
The mobile app you will contribute to includes:
Framework: React Native with Expo
Offline Support: SQLite-based caching for orders and local storage
Device Integrations:
Camera access for QR/barcode scanning
GPS-based vendor detection and user mapping
Architecture: Modular, scalable codebase with Git-based CI/CD
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and enhance modules in a React Native + Expo environment
Integrate device APIs including camera and location services
Implement offline data handling using SQLite
Optimize app performance and debug runtime issues
Collaborate with the backend, design, and product teams
Participate in code reviews and agile sprint planning.
