We’re looking for an Android Developer to help us improve our Android app, which lots of people use to find jobs. You’ll be responsible for designing and building new features using Kotlin, making sure everything looks good and works smoothly on different Android devices. You’ll connect the app to our systems to show the latest job postings and information.
A big part of the role is writing tests to ensure the app is reliable and performs well – things like battery life and how quickly it responds. You’ll work closely with designers and other developers to plan and build new features in a fast-paced environment.
We’re hoping you have a good understanding of Kotlin and the Android SDK, and ideally some experience with publishing apps on the Google Play Store. Knowing about things like MVVM architecture, Jetpack components (like ViewModel and Room), and how to work with APIs will be really helpful. Experience with testing frameworks like JUnit is a plus too.
This position is fully remote, so you can work from anywhere. The salary isn’t specified in the original listing.
