Savills India is seeking a motivated and meticulous Civil Engineering graduate for a Project Management Apprenticeship in Mumbai, India. This 12-month apprenticeship offers a fantastic opportunity to work alongside experienced Project Managers, gaining practical experience in all phases of project delivery – from on-site execution and planning to comprehensive project coordination.
As an apprentice, you will contribute to the supervision of civil works and site activities, ensuring adherence to quality standards while tracking daily progress. Responsibilities include assisting with site activity planning, performing quantity take-offs, measuring completed work against project drawings, and preparing regular reports such as weekly progress updates, look-ahead schedules, and vendor tracking documents. You will also support documentation efforts, including joint measurement sheets and invoice processing, and assist in utilizing project management software like Procore.
Candidates must possess a strong foundation in civil engineering principles, a basic understanding of construction documentation and site execution processes, and demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in MS Excel is required, along with a willingness to quickly learn new software and tools. Excellent communication and coordination skills are also essential.
A Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) degree in Civil Engineering is required, and this is an entry-level position for fresh graduates. The apprenticeship offers a monthly stipend of 12,000 – 15,000 INR.
