Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a C/C++ Chromium Browser Senior Developer located in Bangalore who can contribute to the development of web browser soft components for various TVs. You will work on cutting-edge connected TV technologies such as HbbTV, ATSC3.0 and Freely, leveraging modern C/C++ technologies and the chromium projects.
Responsibilities:
• Develop web browser software components based on the Chromium project for leading clients.
• Work on Web Browser-based Connected TV technologies, including HbbTV, ATSC3.0, and Freely.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality software development.
• Analyze and debug web applications using basic web technologies (HTML, JavaScript, CSS).
• Optimize and enhance software performance and reliability.
• Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and advancements in browser technologies.
Qualifications
• B. Tech in Computer Science/similar with minimum 5 years of experience in related field.
Mandatory skillsets
• Proficiency in Programming and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
• Excellent in C/C++ with modern technologies.
• Hands-on experience working with Chromium-based browsers.
• Basic knowledge of web technologies (HTML, JavaScript, CSS) for debugging and analysis.
• Good command of written and spoken English
Good to have
• Basic knowledge of Java is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of Android development is a plus.
