Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Systems Engineering, or related field.
Key Responsibilities
• Design and develop modern, user-friendly desktop interfaces using Qt.
• Restructure software architecture to separate front-end and back-end components.
• Develop and maintain applications for vision inspection systems.
• Collaborate with engineers and technical sales teams to define workflows and UI requirements.
• Develop sophisticated image processing and computer vision algorithms using OpenCV.
• Participate in R&D activities involving image processing, machine learning, OCR, and automation systems.
• Integrate software with industrial hardware such as cameras, PLCs, encoders, and sensors.
• Communicate with customers and suppliers on technical requirements and implementations.
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Strong programming fundamentals in C/C++.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in C++ and Qt development.
• Hands-on experience building modern desktop applications using Qt.
• Good understanding of UI/UX principles and implementation.
• Experience with modular software architecture and component separation.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred / Asset Skills
• Experience in computer vision or manufacturing environments.
• Familiarity with OpenCV or similar image processing libraries.
• Experience with machine learning concepts.
• Knowledge of industrial automation systems and hardware integration.
