Data Engineer – DBT, Snowflake & SSIS – Siruseri, Chennai | Full Time
We are seeking a Data Engineer to tackle data integration challenges within the insurance sector. You will bridge legacy systems with modern AI-led possibilities by building robust ETL/ELT processes. This role offers a unique opportunity to drive business transformation through large-scale data modernization.
What You’ll Do
Lead the design and development of optimal ETL solutions.
Maintain and develop CAESAR (EDW) ETL/ELT processes efficiently.
Translate functional requirements into technical specifications and solutions.
Implement and incorporate ETL/ELT best practices within the group.
Identify opportunities to re-engineer solutions for better performance.
Analyze current processes to determine critical Key Performance Metrics.
Perform complex ad hoc analysis using SQL to extract data.
What You Need
5+ years of total work experience.
1-2 years of specific experience with Snowflake and DBT.
1-3 years of experience with SSIS and SQL Server.
Strong background in data warehousing technologies.
Experience with complex ETL solutions and large data sets.
Knowledge of Property and Casualty insurance domain.
Good to Have
0-2 years of experience with Azure cloud services.
Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, and Agile Processes.
