Azure Data Engineer – Power BI — Azure Data Engineer – Hyderabad | Contract (C2C) You’ll design and run end‑to‑end data pipelines on Azure, delivering reliable analytics for fast‑growing business units. The role is critical for turning raw cloud data into actionable Power BI dashboards, and it offers the chance to work with the latest Azure and Snowflake services in a hybrid setting. What You’ll Do Build scalable pipelines with Azure Data Factory and Databricks. Engineer ELT flows for structured and semi‑structured data sources. Create and optimise Snowflake data models and warehouses. Develop Python/PySpark scripts for data transformation. Implement CI/CD using GitHub Actions and DevOps standards. Design dimensional models and maintain enterprise data lake storage. Collaborate with product and analytics teams to capture business requirements. Produce and support Power BI reports and dashboards. What You Need 5–6+ years as a Data Engineer. Hands‑on experience with Azure Databricks, ADF, ADLS, Azure SQL, and Synapse. Proven Snowflake implementation skills. Strong background in data warehousing, dimensional modelling, and ETL/ELT design. Proficiency in Python, PySpark, and SQL. Experience building CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions. 1–2 years developing Power BI visualisations. Familiarity with AI/GenAI concepts applied to data pipelines. Good to Have Knowledge of GraphQL or REST API integration. Experience with Terraform or Azure Functions. Exposure to Apache Kafka or MongoDB. Basic Power Apps development skills.
