Key Responsibilities:
• Quality Assurance and Testing: Actively test new features and updates to identify, document, and track software bugs and defects.
• Bug Reporting: Create clear, concise, and detailed bug reports for the development team, including steps to reproduce the issue.
• Usability Testing: Evaluate the user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) to ensure our products are intuitive, efficient, and user-friendly.
• Collaboration with Developers: Work closely with software engineers to communicate issues, verify fixes, and provide feedback throughout the development cycle.
• Smooth Operations: Assist in the design and implementation of automated tests and CI/CD pipelines to ensure a continuous and smooth delivery process.
• System Monitoring: Monitor system performance and contribute to maintain the stability and reliability of our platform.
• Documentation: Maintain clear documentation of testing procedures, bug reports, and quality standards.
Required Technical Skills and Qualifications:
• Minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience in a software engineering, quality assurance, or related technical role.
• Remarkable academic record.
• Familiarity with different types of software testing (e.g., functional, regression, usability).
• Experience with bug-tracking tools like Jira, Trello, or Asana.
• Basic to intermediate scripting skills in a language such as Python or Bash is a plus.
• Understanding of the software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality products.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• A proactive and self-starter attitude with a strong desire to learn and grow.
Preferred Qualifications and Skill-set:
• Experience with automated testing frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright).
• Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Previous experience in a DevOps or a software quality assurance role.
