What You’ll Do
- Lead software development across the product delivery lifecycle for enterprise security products.
- Define and monitor departmental objectives aligned with business strategy.
- Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, and cross‑functional coordination.
- Champion Mastercard development standards, documentation, and CI/CD practices.
- Present strategic recommendations and business cases to senior leadership.
- Drive innovation through AI, event‑driven and microservice architectures.
- Build and maintain high team morale, coaching and mentoring staff.
What You Need
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
- 10+ years software engineering experience, including leadership roles.
- Proven expertise in Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience designing event‑driven, microservice, and pipe‑filter architectures.
- Strong project, financial, and resource management capabilities.
- Ability to hire, coach, and mentor senior technical staff.
- Prior exposure to payments industry or enterprise security solutions.
Good to Have
- Hands‑on experience with Generative or Agentic AI technologies.
- Background in payments or fintech product development.
