What You’ll Do
- Develop idiomatic Go services using goroutines, channels, and robust error handling.
- Design clear service boundaries, APIs, health checks and graceful shutdown procedures.
- Implement gRPC endpoints with Protocol Buffers and expose complementary REST APIs.
- Build performant PostgreSQL data layers, write optimized SQL and manage migrations.
- Create table‑driven unit tests, mocks and integration tests integrated in CI/CD pipelines.
- Deploy, monitor and troubleshoot services on Kubernetes clusters.
- Investigate production incidents, perform root‑cause analysis and improve reliability.
What You Need
- 5–8+ years of software engineering experience.
- Strong hands‑on expertise in Go (Golang).
- Proven experience building gRPC and REST microservices.
- Deep knowledge of PostgreSQL schema design and query optimization.
- Hands‑on experience deploying containers on Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
Good to Have
- Docker containerization and image management.
- Experience with AWS, Azure or GCP cloud services.
- Kafka or RabbitMQ for event‑driven architectures.
