What You’ll Do
- Design, code, and debug RPG/CL applications on the IBM iSeries platform.
- Develop and maintain service programs, sub‑procedures, and subroutines.
- Utilise Integrated Language Environment (ILE) for efficient program compilation.
- Navigate and manage files using SEU, PDM, DFU, and spool utilities.
- Collaborate with clients to capture requirements and produce design documents.
What You Need
- 5+ years of hands‑on experience with AS400, RPG, and IBMi.
- Proficiency in RPGLE programming and Integrated Language Environment.
- Strong knowledge of SEU, PDM, DFU, and spool file handling.
- Experience with iSeries Navigator and Integrated File System (IFS).
- Ability to create and debug CL programs and service programs.
- Proven track record of managing client requirements and delivering design artifacts.
Good to Have
- Familiarity with Web Services, XML, HTML, and JavaScript.
- Exposure to cloud technologies or modern web development stacks.
- Experience working with distributed teams across locations.
