What You’ll Do
- Lead and grow a team of software and firmware engineers.
- Define technical strategy for OS, firmware, and automated testing.
- Design and implement embedded OS architecture for next‑gen Smart TVs.
- Oversee coding, debugging, bug fixing, and release of software packages.
- Collaborate with product, hardware, QA and external partners to meet deadlines.
- Drive recruiting, budgeting, and career development for the team.
What You Need
- Bachelor’s in Computer Science or equivalent; 12+ years overall experience.
- Minimum 5 years of engineering management experience.
- Deep expertise in C, C++11/14, and embedded systems programming.
- Proficient with shell scripting, Makefile, Git, and build tools (CMake, Docker).
- Experience in device driver, kernel, U‑boot, memory management, SELinux.
- Track record of shipping high‑quality hardware/software at scale.
Good to Have
- Master’s degree in CS or related field.
- Experience applying WCAG 2.2 AA and accessibility guidelines.
- Knowledge of HAL, IPC, multi‑threading, and core‑dump analysis.
