You’ll shape the transition of Tableau’s VM workloads to a secure, scalable public‑cloud platform while building reusable frameworks for future acquisitions. What You'll Do Conduct technical discovery for assigned legacy VM workloads, documenting gaps. Design and implement target cloud architecture with Public Cloud, Networking, Security teams. Build and deploy infrastructure as code using Terraform, Ansible, and CI/CD pipelines. Develop automation for self‑healing, proactive alerts, and event remediation. Execute migration of VM workloads to AWS, ensuring service continuity. Create reusable migration frameworks and operational runbooks for future integrations. What You Need 6‑8 years infrastructure engineering, cloud/platform or DevOps experience. Hands‑on with hypervisors (VMware, KVM, Hyper‑V) and AWS (Azure/GCP a plus). Led large‑scale VM‑to‑cloud migrations using lift‑and‑shift or re‑platform strategies. Deep networking knowledge: VPC, VLAN, routing, firewalls, DNS, load balancing. Strong security expertise: identity, SSO, zero‑trust, secrets management. Proficient in IaC (Terraform, Ansible/Puppet) and CI/CD pipelines. Excellent technical discovery, documentation, and stakeholder communication. Good to Have Experience with SaaS support environments and post‑M&A platform consolidation. Familiarity with Salesforce Trust, Public Cloud, or internal platform engineering. Containerization (Docker, Kubernetes/EKS) and modern GitOps CI/CD tools. AWS or VMware certifications (Solutions Architect, VCP-DCV) a plus.
