Java backend Developer- Assistant Vice President

You will help shape enterprise‑grade applications that meet rigorous scalability and compliance standards. This role offers autonomy with limited supervision while acting as a subject‑matter expert for senior stakeholders. What You’ll Do Conduct feasibility studies, cost estimates, and risk analysis for new applications. Oversee full development lifecycle: design, build, test, and deploy solutions. Analyze complex issues, evaluate processes, and recommend optimal technical approaches. Design and enforce security measures post‑implementation to ensure robust functionality. Advise users and technology groups on advanced programming solutions and system integration. Define operating standards, coach junior analysts, and ensure procedural compliance. What You Need 6‑10 years delivering Java EE, Spring Boot, and microservices applications. Strong expertise in designing secure, high‑throughput RESTful APIs and web services. Proven experience with Kafka, Solace, or comparable messaging platforms. Deep knowledge of GitHub Enterprise, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing frameworks. Hands‑on skills with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud environments such as AWS ECS. Ability to write clean, performant code with advanced debugging and optimization techniques. Good to Have Experience with Red Hat OpenShift container orchestration. Familiarity with AI‑powered development tools and automation. Knowledge of additional cloud platforms like Azure or Google Cloud.
