Siemens builds technology for a lot of different industries – think everything from trains and factories to healthcare and smart buildings. We’re looking for a Junior Software Developer to join our team and help us build and improve our Java-based products.
You’ll be writing code to develop new features, testing to make sure everything works correctly, and maintaining the software we already have. You’ll also be working with other developers to achieve project goals, so good communication is important. You’ll have tasks you can handle on your own, and you’ll be expected to meet deadlines. A big part of this role is also learning and growing your skills as a developer.
We’re hoping you have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or something similar. It would be great if you have around a year or two of experience building applications with Java. Knowing the Spring framework, how web services work, and being comfortable with SQL databases are all really helpful. Being able to explain things clearly and find solutions to problems is also key.
This position is located in India and is a hybrid role, meaning you’ll work both from the office and remotely. Salary details are not provided in the original listing.
