The Principal Technical Product Manager will work with the teams that build CAD tools and related services as part of our Data and Insights Platform. The Platform leverages our imagery to create 3D models of man-made structures in our target markets.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with stakeholders including Product Managers, User Experience Experts, Solution Architects, Subject Matter Experts, senior leadership, and engineering teams to create a feature backlog.
  • Understand the platform vision and effectively communicate it to the team.
  • Break features down into well-defined User Stories.
  • Manage and prioritize backlog in alignment with the roadmap, engaging the stakeholders for priority related questions.
  • Document, update and communicate the release plan to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with multiple engineering teams and technical product managers to drive planning and execution.
  • Own feature acceptance readiness and engage with the users to validate delivered features
  • Provide live and recorded feature demos for stakeholders.
  • Track platform performance metrics and report on them periodically.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s (BA or BS) or MBA, computer science, GIS or related field; or equivalent experience.
  • 10+ years overall of experience as technical product manager, product manager, product owner or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of CAD tools experience.
  • A strong grasp of Agile and Scaled Agile development practices/tooling and the software development lifecycle.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and open mind to work with various stakeholders.
  • Effective communication in all forms and ability to present to diverse audiences ranging from senior leadership to teams.
  • Ready to work with colleagues across different time zones.
  • Knowledge or experience in cloud-based services is desirable.
