Aldecor India is seeking a skilled Project Engineer to join our team in Bangalore, Karnataka, India. This full-time position requires 2-3 years of experience and will focus on supporting the complete lifecycle of interior fit-out and civil projects – from initial planning through to successful execution.
The Project Engineer will play a vital role in ensuring projects are delivered on schedule, within budgetary constraints, and to our exacting quality standards. This involves close collaboration with a diverse range of stakeholders, including project managers, consultants, clients, architects, MEP specialists, vendors, and subcontractors.
Key responsibilities include assisting with project schedules and resource allocation, overseeing on-site activities related to civil, interior, and MEP work, and monitoring progress against established timelines and budgets. You will facilitate clear communication between all parties, manage client expectations, and proactively address any concerns.
A strong emphasis will be placed on quality control through the review of technical documentation, site inspections, and adherence to all relevant safety regulations. The role also requires diligent reporting on project status, material usage, and potential challenges, as well as the preparation of necessary documentation for billing and project management. You will also be involved in vendor management, risk identification, and issue resolution. Daily tasks include reviewing site reports, conducting briefings, and ensuring work meets quality and safety standards.
Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Interior Engineering, or a related field and possess a solid understanding of construction drawings, BOQs, and project documentation. Excellent communication, coordination, and leadership skills are essential.
