Heptarc needs a Salesforce developer who *actually* knows Vlocity CPQ. Forget the fluff – we’re building complex solutions for Communications Cloud, and need someone who can hit the ground running with order management configurations. Java, Microservices, Unix, ELK and PLSQL are non-negotiable; consider them table stakes.
You’ll be deep in Apex, Triggers, LWC, and Flows, naturally, building integrations using REST and SOAP APIs. Expect to develop, test, and document everything – data migration included. Salesforce VS Code should feel like an extension of your own brain. A solid understanding of the platform is vital.
Certifications in Vlocity Developer Essentials and Salesforce Platform Developer 1 are highly desirable—Vlocity Order Management/CPQ credentials are a bonus. Good communication skills and a positive attitude are expected, but frankly, we value problem-solving more. This isn’t a role for someone who needs hand-holding.
We’re a growing team – currently around 15 developers – and this position offers a real opportunity to shape our approach to complex implementations. It’s fast-paced, demanding, and you’ll be constantly learning – a typical project involves navigating intricate business requirements and translating them into scalable, maintainable code (which, let’s be honest, isn’t always glamorous).
