Job Description:
We are hiring a Senior SCADA Engineer to lead the design, development, and deployment of SCADA systems for utility-scale solar PV and BESS (Battery Energy Storage Systems). The role ensures robust system architecture, high-performance monitoring, and adherence to cybersecurity and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design SCADA systems including architecture, IP schemes, and point lists
• Program PLCs, RTUs, HMIs (e.g., Ignition, Kepware, Wonderware)
• Lead FAT/SAT testing and on-site commissioning
• Ensure NERC compliance and cybersecurity best practices
• Prepare technical documentation – logic diagrams, schematics, test protocols
• Collaborate with EPCs, field teams, and integration partners
• Provide expert-level troubleshooting and system support
Key Skills Required:
• SCADA: Ignition, Kepware, Wonderware
• PLCs: Allen Bradley, GE RX3i, SEL RTAC
• Protocols: Modbus RTU/TCP, DNP3, OPC UA/DA
• Programming: C/C++, Python, IEC 61131-3 (Structured Text)
• Networking: TCP/IP, RS-232/485, fiber optics
• Familiarity with ISO/NERC compliance and power plant operations
