SDE – II (Full Stack Developer)

As an SDE-II (Fullstack Developer), you will play a pivotal role in building, scaling, and enhancing the core technology platform that drives SME digital transformation. You will be responsible for developing robust backend and frontend features, integrating with third-party APIs, and ensuring the reliability and security of the platform. You will work with autonomy, contribute to open-source initiatives, and help shape the technical direction of the company.

Responsibilities
• Build new features in the application and drive their continuous improvement.
• Design and develop scalable, loosely coupled services to expand the platform.
• Create and maintain robust API integrations with third-party services.
• Enhance infrastructure to improve system availability and reliability.
• Own the end-to-end lifecycle of your code, from design to deployment, using the AWS ecosystem.
• Contribute to open-source projects and share technical insights through blog posts.
• Stay updated with the latest web development trends and technologies relevant to customer needs.
• Develop automated unit and integration tests to ensure software quality.
• Perform performance tuning, refactoring, usability enhancements, and automation.
• Maintain high coding, compliance, and security standards.
• Implement and enforce web and application security best practices.

Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 2-4 years of hands-on experience in backend web development using Python and Django.
• Proficiency in frontend technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and experience with frameworks such as Vue.js or React.
• Strong command of Data Structures and Algorithms.
• Experience with database technologies such as MongoDB, MySQL, and Redis.
• Familiarity with building robust and scalable RESTful APIs.
• Experience working with Linux, Apache, Memcache, and AWS services (including EC2 ELB, Auto Scaling, CloudFront, S3 RDS, SNS).
• Strong communication and peer networking skills.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, able to work independently and thrive in fast-paced environments.
• Proven ability to write clean, standards-compliant code.
• Experience with additional programming languages such as Java.
• Exposure to full-stack development in SaaS or marketplace environments.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.
• Prior contributions to open-source projects.
• Experience with performance tuning and application security.
• Working knowledge of tools like Jira, Slack, Metabase, Trello, and New Relic.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in fullstack or backend web development.
• Experience in building and maintaining web/app-based tech products, preferably in a SaaS or marketplace setting.
