We’re seeking an experienced TypeScript/JavaScript engineer to build an enterprise‑grade Web Identity SDK that will power multiple web applications across our platform. The focus is on deep browser security, authentication flows, and robust library design, not UI work.
What You’ll Do
- Design and implement reusable TypeScript SDKs for web authentication.
- Integrate OAuth2, OIDC, JWT, and PKCE flows securely.
- Ensure browser security handling CORS, CSP, XSS, CSRF, cookies.
- Write unit, integration, and browser automation tests.
- Manage NPM packaging, versioning, CI/CD pipelines, and releases.
- Debug cross‑browser issues and support production incidents.
- Participate in architecture reviews and code‑review processes.
What You Need
- 5–10 years of software engineering experience.
- Expert-level TypeScript and JavaScript, including async/await and event loop.
- Proven track record building reusable SDKs or libraries.
- Deep knowledge of web security, HTTP/HTTPS, and browser internals.
- Hands‑on experience with OAuth2, OIDC, JWT token lifecycles.
- Proficiency with NPM, automated testing frameworks, and CI/CD tools.
- Strong debugging and analytical problem‑solving abilities.
Good to Have
- Experience with Auth0, Okta, MSAL, or Cognito.
- Familiarity with SSO, RBAC, scopes, and enterprise IAM.
- Knowledge of bundlers like Webpack, Rollup, Vite and testing tools such as Playwright or Cypress.
- Experience maintaining semantic versioning for public NPM packages.
