Key Responsibilities
• Design, build, and maintain scalable and robust backend systems using Java and MySQL.
• Lead the development of microservices architecture, ensuring high performance and maintainability.
• Integrate backend systems with cloud platforms such as AWS (ECS, RDS, SQS, etc.).
• Own features end-to-end, from design to deployment, monitoring, and debugging in production.
• Collaborate with product managers, frontend developers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
• Enforce and follow engineering best practices, including code reviews, CI/CD, and test automation.
• Mentor junior engineers and help scale engineering culture across the :
• 3+ years of backend development experience with Java.
• Strong understanding of MySQL schema design, optimization, and data modeling.
• Hands-on experience building and deploying microservices in production.
• Experience with cloud integration, preferably on AWS (e.g., ECS, RDS, S3, SQS).
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and secure backend service design.
• Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and containerization tools like Docker.
• Ability to debug complex issues across distributed systems.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Hands-on experience with Springnboot to Have :
• Exposure to observability tools (e.g., CloudWatch, OpenSearch, Grafana).
• Prior experience in a travel, fintech, or SaaS-based startup.
• Experience with message queues (SQS, Kafka, etc.).
