Mogi I/O is seeking a skilled Senior Software Developer with a strong foundation in C++ to join our team. This full-time position, based anywhere, focuses on the development and maintenance of software for hardware-integrated systems within a global technology organization specializing in electronics and semiconductor solutions.
The ideal candidate will leverage expertise in Microsoft Visual C++, Win32 API, MFC, STL, and TCP/IP sockets to build and enhance features for hardware control systems. Responsibilities include debugging, optimizing multithreaded applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle, and ensuring code quality through reviews and adherence to best practices.
Candidates must possess 7 to 16 years of overall C++ development experience, with a minimum of 5 years in VC++ and 1 year in MFC. A strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming principles is essential, as is experience in a product-based organization. A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Technology, Science, or a related field is required.
Valuable experience includes knowledge of Modbus and SECS/GEM protocols, Windows Kernel-Mode Drivers, industrial automation or semiconductor systems, and interfacing with hardware such as USB, PCI, COM ports, and Ethernet. Strong debugging and problem-solving abilities are also necessary.
