Role Overview:
You will be a passionate Senior Software Engineer at Britive, responsible for developing and scaling multi-tenant SaaS applications on the AWS platform. Your role will involve leveraging your strong hands-on technical expertise in various big data technologies to contribute to the development of a cutting-edge product. You will play a crucial part in the team, bringing your experience and positive attitude to deliver technical solutions in a fast-paced startup environment.
Key Responsibilities:
– Design and develop a large-scale data ingestion and analytics system.
– Create data pipelines for real-time and batch data processing across different datasets.
– Develop systems for storing data in a highly normalized manner to enable correlation with other data sources.
– Collaborate with product management and engineering teams for software design and integration, conduct code reviews, and troubleshoot product issues.
– Conduct proof of concepts to determine optimal design solutions, including utilizing AWS services.
– Research integration options for various SaaS/IaaS technologies, including APIs for user administration, and implement findings into application integration.
Qualification Required:
– Prior experience in a similar role at a SaaS security product company.
– Minimum of 7 years of relevant work experience in comparable positions.
– Proficiency in Java, REST Web Services, SQL, Kafka/Kinesis, EMR/SparQL, Snowflake, AWS Neptune, Gremlin/Tinker-Pop.
– Hands-on experience in developing scalable data lakes, data ingestion and processing pipelines, and data access microservices in multi-tenant environments on the AWS platform.
– Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with a distributed team.
– Familiarity with agile development methodology.
