What You’ll Do Plan and architect technical solutions that meet business requirements and Mastercard standards. Lead daily development and maintenance activities to meet SLAs and accelerate delivery. Own the full software‑development lifecycle, from requirements and design to testing and rollout. Manage production incidents, perform root‑cause analysis, and provide on‑call support. Research emerging technologies, run PoCs, and recommend frameworks or vendor solutions. Mentor junior engineers, conduct brown‑bag sessions, and ensure knowledge transfer. What You Need 3–5 years of Java backend development experience. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field. Proven ability to deliver secure solutions in the financial services sector (preferred). Strong grasp of software‑engineering concepts, SDLC, and design patterns. Experience writing comprehensive test plans, unit/integration tests, and performance benchmarks. Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to work under pressure. Good to Have Hands‑on experience with vendor coordination and support of third‑party products. Familiarity with proof‑of‑concept execution and technology evaluation. Experience delivering technical training and brown‑bag sessions.
