Senior WordPress Backend Developer

You are looking for a Backend Web Developer to enhance your company’s website by creating new web pages and features. Your expertise in PHP, NODEjs, and MONGODB will be crucial for this role. Familiarity with WordPress, the Genesis Framework, and related hooks and filters can be advantageous.

Your responsibilities will involve designing, developing, and maintaining WordPress websites, plugins, and themes to ensure top-notch performance, responsiveness, and security. You will craft efficient, reusable PHP code for diverse web applications. Collaboration with various teams, such as designers and developers, will be necessary to transform creative concepts into reality and achieve smooth integration with front-end elements. Participating in code reviews and optimizing web content for SEO will be essential tasks.

Experience with WooCommerce, LifterLMS, and Custom plugins development will be beneficial. You will analyze and enhance website user experience with a focus on usability and accessibility. Utilizing web analytics tools to monitor metrics and user behavior, as well as generating regular performance reports for improvement, will be part of your routine. Conducting tests to ensure seamless functionality across browsers and devices, and implementing responsive design principles for optimal user experience will be key responsibilities.

To excel in this role, you should hold a Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Web Development, Information Technology, or a related field. A proven track record as a Full Stack or Backend Developer with 4-5 years of hands-on experience is required. Experience in team management, proficiency in PHP, custom theme development, integration of third-party APIs, and a solid grasp of web security best practices are essential. Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills are crucial for success in this dynamic environment.
