What You’ll Do
- Design and evolve large‑scale distributed systems for scalability and reliability.
- Define technical strategy and architecture across teams aligned with business goals.
- Drive AI‑assisted development adoption and link to measurable engineering outcomes.
- Prioritize high‑impact cross‑team initiatives spanning multiple domains.
- Partner with product and leadership on roadmaps, architecture decisions, and priorities.
- Enhance observability, performance, and operational maturity of production systems.
What You Need
- B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
- 6+ years building large‑scale distributed systems and platform architectures.
- Strong fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.
- Hands‑on production experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure cloud services.
- Expertise in microservices, Docker, Kubernetes, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/Pulumi/Bicep).
- Proficiency in full‑stack/API development using Rust, C#, or JavaScript and OAuth/OIDC/SAML.
Good to Have
- Experience driving execution without direct authority across ambiguous environments.
- Deep observability and reliability engineering expertise (logging, tracing, incident response).
- Track record of improving engineering productivity through platforms, tooling, and modern delivery practices.
