Crystal Group builds and maintains cold storage facilities – basically, large refrigerated warehouses used for storing food and other temperature-sensitive products. We’re looking for a Site Engineer to join our team and help manage projects at our construction sites.
You’ll be responsible for overseeing the structural engineering work happening on site, making sure everything is built correctly and safely. A big part of the job is checking the quality of the work as it’s being done, following all the necessary standards. You’ll also need to work closely with different teams – like the builders, electricians, and project managers – to keep things running smoothly. Keeping good records of everything that happens on site is also important.
We’re looking for someone with a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering. It would be great if you understand structural and civil engineering principles well. Some experience with working on construction sites and supervising projects would be really helpful, even if it’s just from internships. Knowing about quality control and the rules and regulations around construction is also a plus. Good communication skills are essential, as you’ll be talking to lots of different people. Being able to think on your feet and pay attention to detail will be important too. Any experience with cold storage projects specifically is a bonus, but not required.
This position is located in Mumbai and is an onsite role. Salary will be discussed during the interview process.
