Sr. SDE Java Developer – India As a senior software engineer you’ll own end‑to‑end development of high‑performance backend services while partnering with UI teams to deliver full‑stack features. The role powers Quest Global’s engineering platform, helping clients transform complex problems into scalable digital solutions. What You’ll Do Design and implement scalable Java microservices using Spring Boot and Spring MVC. Build and expose RESTful APIs consumed by internal and external clients. Deploy services on cloud platforms such as AWS or PCF and manage containerised workloads. Work closely with product, QA and DevOps to ship features from concept to production. Optimize performance, troubleshoot incidents, and ensure high availability. Write clean, testable code and participate in peer code reviews. Contribute to CI/CD pipeline improvements and automation. What You Need 5+ years of backend development experience with Java 8+. Strong hands‑on expertise in Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Data. Proven experience building microservices and REST APIs. Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure or GCP) and Docker/Kubernetes. Solid knowledge of SQL and/or NoSQL databases. Experience with React.js for front‑end integration. Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and Git version control. Good to Have API automation testing using Rest Assured, Postman or Karate. Exposure to event‑driven systems like Kafka or RabbitMQ. Knowledge of security standards such as OAuth2 and JWT.
